Rockfish Announces Multiple Job Openings
Posted By: Kenny Tomlin on April 01, 2008 - Happening At RockfishRockfish continues to grow at a rapid pace and we are looking for some great people in the following areas:
- .NET Developers
- Web Design
- Interactive Producer (Project / Client Management)
- HR / Recruiting - I've finally given up trying to manage this role on my own. I need an all-star HR person that can primarily help with recruiting, building our internship program, write better job postings, etc.
With all of these positions, personality and attitude are as important as capabilities. We ARE NOT considering people who:
- Show up to the interview late and never smile. Turn around and go home if you can't show up on time as that is an obvious sign that you don't have a sense of urgency and responsibility that is important for success at Rockfish.
- Want to get into web development because they think it is cool, but have no examples to show us how they have been learning on their own to prepare themselves.
- Cannot name at least two or three significant developments occurring on the Internet that every business should be aware of (quote blogs and books you have been reading to really impress me).
- Offend Ruthanne (our receptionist). Everybody loves Ruthanne. If you can't get along with Ruthanne when you enter our office then you can't get along with anyone. Playing well with others is important in our rapidly growing (read "cramped") office.
Three reasons why you will love working for Rockfish (of course we have great benefits, 401K, free iPhones, free lunches, etc.):
- Awesome customers and projects
- Awesome team and work environment
- Awesome vision and direction
