Northwest Arkansas Advertising Agency Wins National Industry Award

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, September 14, 2009: Today Rockfish Interactive, based in Rogers, Arkansas, was named Advertising Age magazine's first-ever recipient of the award for Top Small Agency of the Year.

Advertising Age is a popular print and digital magazine that delivers news, analysis and data on marketing and media to a world-wide audience. This is Advertising Age's first year to produce Small Agency Awards, which honor the best work and best agencies in the world with under 75 employees.

"Many of the agencies we hear so much about are in New York, San Francisco, Chicago or in a larger market like that. So for an agency in Northwest Arkansas to be growing like we're growing and recognized by a major publication like Advertising Age I think is a big story and important for our region,” said Rockfish CEO and Founder, Kenny Tomlin.

Although most advertising industry awards are categorized by online or offline, Advertising Age sought to identify the best ideas that did the most to move business, regardless of marketing discipline or medium. Rockfish Interactive caught the attention of Advertising Age partly because of the agency's continued commitment to innovation and entrepreneurialism.
