Rockfish Interactive Names Joel Dollar EVP and Managing Director
Dollar Brings Over 20 Years Marketing and Advertising Experience to Rockfish
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, August 28, 2009: Rockfish Interactive announces Joel Dollar as Executive Vice
President and Managing Director of its Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas office. Dollar will spearhead Rockfish’s growth
in DFW and surrounding areas.
Joel joins Rockfish from Targetbase Direct Marketing, an Omnicom Agency where he served as SVP Digital Operations
and Integration. While at Targetbase he led significant digital revenue growth for a variety of clients including:
Michaels Stores, Texas Farm Bureau, Teva Neurosciences, Proctor & Gamble, American Honda Motors and General Mills.
Prior to Targetbase, Joel served as both Sr. VP Account Service and President at Slingshot LLC, an integrated
agency based in Dallas, Texas. During his five year tenure there he played a critical role in Slingshot’s
phenomenal 40%+ CAGAR.
Prior to Slingshot, he served as Global VP Marketing for i2 Technologies and VP Brand & Marketing Communications at
Verizon Communications Corp.
Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising from The University of Texas at Arlington and completed Verizon’s
executive development program from Duke University.
