Sam’s Club: Digital
Rockfish had the unique opportunity to create an entire digital ecosystem for one of the largest retailers in the country, Sam's Club. We engaged each of the Sam's Club digital destinations, all while they were continuing to interact with and service Members. This began with social, with a new facebook page and establishment of @samsclub on Twitter. Capitalizing on this success, Rockfish then moved on to Mobile, engaging members through more than the "large screen." To monitor this digital ecosystem, Rockfish developed dashboards for key performance indicators across all digital channels, rendering key metrics through methods that provided immediate insights and clear next steps for the business.
White Cloud – Roll-volution
White Cloud approached Rockfish with a challenge: increase awareness of their brand and drive sales withoutbreaking the bank. As we started to look at the toilet paper industry, we realized that it was a "sea of sameness". Everyone was talking about how their product was soft, quilted, durable, and affordable. In order to understand what consumers were talking about regarding toilet paper, we conducted an online listening study and discovered that people don't talk about toilet paper attributes – they talk about running out of it. Leveraging this insight, we created an online viral campaign that focused on the "void" of toilet paper rather than the "virtue" called the Roll-volution where women could take a stand against the toilet paper takers that they live with.
Coupon Factory
Mentos engaged CouponFactory to deliver a secure coupon solution in Facebook to drive trial for their new Mentos UP2U Gum brand. We worked with the Mentos brand team and a third party digital agency to integrate our technology into a dynamic flash page in Facebook. Customers who "liked" the brand could then click to the “Flavor Gallery” tab and choose which new brand of Mentos UP2U gum they wanted to trial. Customers were then prompted to enter their Name, Email, and Zip Code and could print out a $1.00 off coupon that was redeemable at most major retailers. The campaign was a dramatic success generating more than 20,000 Facebook "likes", 10,000 coupon prints, and 6,600 email opt-ins all within 48 hours! The campaign also generated a CTR of almost 70% and a click-to-print conversion of 65%.
